Die Melde und Steuereinheit ist mit integrierter Modbus- und ULP-Kommunikation für ComPacT NSX Leistungsschalter. Das optionale BSCM Modbus SL/ULP-Modul für ComPacT NSX dient der Erfassung von Gerätestatusmeldungen und der Steuerung des Gerätes. Es dient als Umsetzer zwischen den Analogausgängen der Gerätemeldekontakte (OF, SD, SDE) und den digitalen Kommunikationsfunktionen. Es wird für die Kommunikation von Statusanzeigen, Steuerungen und Messungen benötigt. Das BSCM ist im Inneren des Leistungsschalters hinter der Frontabdeckung installiert. Es verfügt über eine integrierte Modbus-Schnittstelle, die an einen Modbus-Hub angeschlossen wird, um die Modbus-Verbindung zu vernetzen. Der Anschluss an externe Ethemet- oder Modbus-Schnittstellen (IFE/IFM) erfolgt über das NSX-Kabel im ULP-Modus. Die Betriebsspannung des Modbus SL/ULP-Moduls BSCM beträgt 24 VDC.
