This device belongs to the Vigilohm range, designed for monitoring unearthed power supplies (IT systems) in accordance with installation and product standards. This insulation fault location is only possible when connected to the IM400 series, XM300 or XM200. This device is designed to monitor 12 AC, DC and ACDC feeders up to 1000V with the IFL12VA1T voltage adapter. It measures the insulation resistance and leakage capacitance per feeder. The configuration is set from the front of the device, via the HMI screen or via the communication interface. The main settings relate to the alarm thresholds, channel naming, toroid type (Vigilohm type or other compatible types) and filtering time. Per feeder, it displays an insulation resistance from 100 Ohm to 250 kilohms and a leakage capacitance from 1 to 15 microfarads. Autotest starts automatically every 5 hours and when required. If the insulation resistance falls below the set threshold, an alarm is triggered via the IFL output relay, HMI and communication interface. Once no more faults are detected, the alarm is cleared and the alarm relay returns to normal. The unit can be powered from a 110VAC to 440VAC source or a 110VDC to 440VDC source, all with a tolerance of plus or minus 15%.
