This Altivar 12 frequency converter can feed 3-phase asynchronous motors in mains connection. It operates with a nominal power of up to 3 kW / 4 HP and a nominal voltage of 200 V to 240 V AC. It is equipped with a heat sink for normal environments and a fan-cooled housing. The 'Transient Overtorque' function prevents downtime by relieving the machine with additional torque when needed, reducing downtime and maintenance costs. It has underload and overload detection to help protect your installation. The Altivar 12 drive is equipped with the Modbus communication protocol as standard, accessible via the RJ45 connector on the bottom of the drive. It is designed for simple industrial and commercial machines and equipment such as conveyor belts, pumps, extraction systems, access barriers and treadmills. Compatibility with SoMove software allows configurations to be saved and transferred to a spare drive, reducing downtime for maintenance. It is characterized by an optimized application of power and torque for ventilation and pumping applications, which can save up to 30% energy.
