Acti9 iC40N ARC Active - is an AFDD (arc fault protection device/fire protection switch) for detecting arc faults in combination with a circuit breaker and is communication-capable. 1P+N, 13A rated current and B characteristic. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity is up to 6000A at 230VAC in accordance with EN/IEC 60898-1 and 10kA at 230VAC in accordance with EN/IEC 60947-2. This AFDD in combination with the circuit breaker protects circuits against short circuits, overload current and the risk of fire caused by arc faults. The integrated snap-action switching (switching by spring force) of the switching mechanism increases the service life. This Acti9 iC40 ARC Active communicates with the EcoStruxure Panel Server Entry, Universal and Advanced gateways. With differentiated pre-alarm and trip signal for overload, earth fault, mains overvoltage and measurement of voltage, current and power. The two unique VisiTrip indicators of the Acti9 iArc reduce the intervention time by indicating the failed circuit and allowing the type of fault to be quickly identified. The electrical life is up to 10,000 and the mechanical life up to 20,000 switching cycles. The rated insulation voltage Ui is 250VAC. Limitation class 3 (according to EN/IEC60898-1).
