Durch eine Kombination von Passivierung und Pulverbeschichtung wird ein besonders hoher Korrosionsschutz erreicht. Das Gehäuse besticht vor allem durch die enorme Schlagfestigkeit der Klasse IK08, wodurch die elektronischen Einbauten im Inneren zuverlässig geschützt werden. Mit einer Schutzart von IP66 werden die Einbauten vor Staub und Wasser gesichert.
