With its wide operating temperature range (-40 to 85 °C), vibration-resistant design, and channel-to-channel isolation, the E1512-M12-T is ideal for remote monitoring and control tasks aboard trains. It features four digital input channels, which can also be configured as digital outputs—offering flexibility for various I/O scenarios.
The device is easily configured via web browser or the Windows-based ioSearch utility. It supports Modbus TCP, MXIO, and MX-AOPC UA for real-time, event-driven data communication with SCADA systems. The compact, aluminum-housed unit can be DIN-rail mounted or wall-mounted using an optional kit.
