Its two built-in Ethernet ports support daisy-chain topologies, reducing the need for additional switches. Peer-to-peer communication allows direct input-to-output mapping without external controllers. Features include user-definable Modbus TCP addressing, web-based configuration, event-driven push communication to SCADA systems, and operation in harsh environments down to -40°C. The series is certified for hazardous locations (ATEX Zone 2, Class I Div. 2), except for models E1213/E1213-T.
