With support for IEEE 802.3af (PoE) and IEEE 802.3at (PoE+, from HW Rev. 1.1.0), they can deliver up to 30 W to powered devices (PDs), reducing the need for additional wiring. Features include auto MDI/MDI-X detection, store-and-forward or pass-through switching, a relay alarm for power failure, and a wide operating temperature range from -40 to 75 °C for -T models.
