Die EDS-316 Serie ist speziell für den Einsatz in rauen Industrieumgebungen konzipiert und erfüllt Anforderungen wie die ATEX Zone 2 und Class I Division 2 Standards. Sie ist in zwei Temperaturversionen erhältlich: für Standardanwendungen (-10 bis 60 °C) und für extreme Bedingungen mit erweitertem Temperaturbereich (-40 bis 75 °C bei -T Modellen). Alle Geräte werden einem 100%-Burn-In-Test unterzogen, um ihre Eignung für industrielle Automatisierungsanwendungen sicherzustellen. Die Montage kann wahlweise auf einer Hutschiene oder in einem Schaltschrank erfolgen.
