They feature 128-byte FIFOs with on-chip hardware and software flow control for optimal performance.

Both series support 3.3 V and 5 V PCI/PCI-X slots, making them adaptable to nearly all modern or legacy PC systems. The CP-104UL uses a DB44 connector with breakout cables, while the CP-104JU offers four individual RJ45 ports. Integrated LEDs for Tx and Rx per port simplify status monitoring.
