The CA-132 module from the CA-132/132I Series is a 2-port RS-422/485 PC/104 board built for embedded and industrial applications requiring compact and reliable serial communication. It is ideal for environments with limited space and a controlled temperature range of 0 to 55°C.

Each port is powered by a 16C550C-compatible UART with a 64-byte FIFO, supporting baud rates up to 921.6 kbps and RS-422 or RS-485 operation (2-wire or 4-wire). DIP switches allow easy configuration of I/O base address and interrupt vector, and each port includes Tx/Rx LEDs for real-time communication monitoring. Extensive driver support for Windows, Linux, and UNIX ensures wide compatibility.
