With its capability to operate reliably in harsh conditions, this switch supports modern IP-based applications such as large-scale WLAN coverage or video surveillance systems. The switch allows flexible network topologies, including star, bus, and ring topologies, with the ring topology ensuring communication recovery within 100 ms in the event of a segment failure.

The switch also offers Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) options, enabling connected devices to operate without separate power supplies. Featuring two fiber uplinks (100Base-FX) and four Fast Ethernet ports (10/100Base-TX), this switch is ideal for integration into existing or new industrial networks.
