With a maximum transmission rate of up to 1.25 GBit/s, these converters provide a reliable and versatile solution for various network types, including Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, FDDI, MADI, ESCON, as well as STM-1 and STM-4.
The transparent coupling allows direct transmission without protocol conversion, maximizing the bandwidth of the fiber optic link. Monomode fiber is ideal for demanding information services due to its high range and bitrate capabilities. Integrated link transparency ensures that the link status of one segment is passed to the other side (Link Through), enabling reliable communication.
