LED Retrofit G23LED retrofit lamps with G23 socket are the energy-efficient replacement for conventional halogen and fluorescent lamps in existing sockets – no modification, no electrician, with immediate payback through up to 85% lower energy consumption. Application area: as replacement for PL compact fluorescent lamps G23 in downlights, wall lights and floor recessed lights (2-pin, bypass or ballast-compatible). These LED lamps operate with a service life of 15,000 to 50,000 operating hours, surpassing halogen equivalents by 10 to 25 times. Available colour temperatures: 2700 K warm white (atmosphere and restaurants), 3000 K warm white (office-warm), 4000 K neutral white (task lighting), 6500 K daylight white (detail work and laboratory). Colour rendering Ra > 80 standard; Ra > 90 on request. All lamps comply with the EU Ecodesign Directive and are CE-certified. 2700–3000 K for living and restaurant areas with warm ambience. 4000 K for office, workshop and retail. 6500 K for security, inspection and laboratory lighting where colour differentiation is important.
Are all LED retrofit lamps dimmable?
No – only models with explicit dimmer labelling. For dimmer installations, always choose the dimmable version and compatible dimmer type (trailing-edge preferred) together.
How long does an LED G23 lamp last in commercial operation?
At 8–10 h/day: 5–15 years, depending on quality level. L70 lifetime (still 70% initial luminance): 15,000–50,000 h. Industrial quality: 50,000 h recommended for hard-to-reach locations.
