FAQ
Which E14 LED lamp replaces a 40 W incandescent?
Approx. 5 W LED with 470 lumens. For 25 W equivalent: 3 W LED (250 lm). For chandeliers with 10 light points: total saving of approx. 350 W compared to incandescent lamps.
Do E14 LED lamps fit in enclosed luminaires?
Only if explicitly approved for enclosed luminaires (labelling on packaging). Heat build-up in a closed housing can significantly shorten LED service life.
Are filament LEDs with E14 as bright as standard LEDs?
Filament LEDs have a higher proportion of omnidirectional light (360°), but often emit somewhat fewer lumens per watt. They are optimised for decorative effects rather than primary lighting.
Which IP protection class do I need for the bathroom?
Zone 0 (bathtub): IPX7 minimum. Zone 1 (directly above tub): IPX5. Zone 2 (outer area): IP44. Please check zone classification before installation.
