What is DMX and do I need it?
DMX-512 is the standard lighting control protocol – enables control of up to 512 channels (devices/parameters) via a single cable. For simple setups auto/sound mode suffices. For programmed shows and professional control a DMX controller is recommended.
How many moving heads do I need for a stage?
For a small stage (5x3 m) 2–4 moving heads are sufficient. For professional concert stages 8–16 or more – depending on desired light density and show complexity.
