Fog fluid vaporises in the heater block creating white, opaque fog – ideal for light effects (laser visibility, moving head beams). Complemented by hazers for fine, even atmospheric haze. Buying criteria: heater power (W) determines fog output and warm-up time. DMX control enables fog timing synchronised with the light show. Remote control (wired or wireless) for manual operation without a controller. Tank size: small models 0.5 l, large stage foggers 2–5 l. Hazer vs. fog machine: Fog machine: burst mode, dense fog. Hazer: continuous, fine haze – makes light beams visible without obscuring the view. Often preferred for professional light shows. Fog Machines – FAQ
Which fog fluid do you recommend?
Use manufacturer-recommended fluids – third-party fluids can clog the heater. Standard fog fluid (water-based) for normal applications. Special fluid for low-lying fog (low fog) or extra-long fog persistence.
Is stage fog harmful to health?
Approved fog fluids (PLASA/ESTA-tested) are harmless when used as intended. Limit concentration in poorly ventilated spaces. For people with respiratory conditions limit exposure as a precaution.
