This switch delivers both data and power to a range of PoE compatible Devices via Cat5e or Cat6 network cables. IEEE802.3af or IEEE802.3at compliant devices connected to the switch do not require additional power, eliminating the time and cost of rewiring and eliminating cable clutter caused by external power supplies in inconvenient locations such as Ceilings and walls are minimized. Equipped with 48 Gigabit Ethernet ports, all supporting 802.3at/af Power over Ethernet (PoE/PoE+), it can power WLAN access points, bridges, VoIP phones, IP surveillance cameras and much more, as well as simultaneously Deliver 216 Gbps total switching capacity for your network.
Powered via Ethernet 802.3at:
The switch supports the IEEE 802.3at protocol and is designed for an output power of up to 30 watts per port*. Any mix of PoE and non-PoE devices are supported, and with short circuit, overload and high voltage protections, your equipment is well protected. For non-802.3at/af compliant devices (older access points or network cameras), we recommend using a PoE/PoE+ splitter from Intellinet Network Solutions.
10 Gigabit Ethernet (IEEE 802.3ae):

Self-Healing Network with increased reliability and stability - Intellinet Powered Device Monitor (PDM):
This Power over Ethernet switch is equipped with Powered Device Monitoring, a < PoE function. This PoE watchdog performs a PD alive check for all connected PDs and resets unresponsive devices, e.g. B. PoE cameras, automatically resets by interrupting and then restoring the power supply. The PDM function is particularly useful in applications where the connected devices are critical to the network such as in industrial or surveillance scenarios. Another advantage of the PD Alive function: calls to tech support and costly on-site visits by customer service technicians can often be avoided, as the functional restart can often bring the unresponsive device back online.
