Self-Healing Network with Increased Reliability and Stability - Intellinet Powered Device Monitor (PDM)
This Power over Ethernet switch is equipped with Powered Device Monitoring, a self-healing PoE feature. This PoE watchdog performs a PD-alive check for all connected PDs and automatically resets unresponsive devices, such as PoE cameras, by interrupting and then restoring power. The PDM function is particularly useful in applications where the connected devices are critical to the network, such as in industrial or surveillance scenarios. Another advantage of the PD Alive function: calls to tech support and costly on-site visits by service technicians can often be avoided, as the functional reboot can often bring the non-responsive device back online.
Gigabit speeds plus high PoE power budget
With its eight RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet ports with auto-sensing functionality (10/100/1000 Mbps), this managed switch offers sufficient power for the devices in your network. The switch has a power budget of 240 W and can distribute a full 30 W (according to IEEE 802.3at) to each RJ45 port simultaneously. This PoE switch has many common management functions that give you full control over your network and protect you safely against ARP attacks. These include VLAN, port aggregation, QoS, port mirroring, SNMP management and remote monitoring (RMON). With port binding, a specific MAC address can be bound to a port and only this MAC will then be granted access to the network. Thanks to port-based 802.1X access control, each user must be authorized before access. With the access control list (ACL) you can set the authorization based on IP or port numbers
