InLine® USB 2.0 Host/Device Extender over IP, Single Device, RJ45 / SFP content_copy

Extend USB 2.0 over IP networks: Enables the transmission of USB 2.0 signals at up to 480 Mb/s over a gigabit network and flexibly integrates USB devices into existing IP infrastructures.
Flexible network connection via RJ45 or SFP: Supports both copper connections via Gigabit Ethernet and fibre optic connections via SFP, allowing for customisable installation concepts.
Switchable host or device mode: A device can be operated as a host or device via a device switch, increasing planning and deployment flexibility. Two identical devices are required for a complete connection.
PoE support for reduced cabling: Power can be supplied via Power over Ethernet in accordance with IEEE 802.3af or IEEE 802.3at. Alternatively, an external power supply unit is available.
Robust metal housing for professional installations: The sturdy housing and mounting brackets enable permanent and secure integration into technical racks or installation environments.
The InLine® USB 2.0 Host/Device Extender over IP is a system component for extending USB 2.0 signals over an IP-based Gigabit network. Signal transmission is either via an RJ45 copper connection or via fibre optic cable using an SFP port, allowing flexible integration into existing network structures.
The device is operated as a single unit and is not designed as a preconfigured set. Two identical devices are required for a complete USB connection. One device operates in host mode and is connected to a computer. The second device is operated in device mode and establishes the connection to USB end devices.
