This InLine® Gigabit network card, 1x SFP fibre 1Gb/s was developed for use in desktop, server and embedded systems and meets modern requirements in terms of energy efficiency, form factor and network stability. It is equipped with an SFP slot that supports various fibre optic transceivers and thus enables flexible network connections over different distances and media types.
By supporting current network protocols and functions such as VLAN tagging, flow control, jumbo frames or checksum offloading, the card is suitable for both standard networks and specialised applications, such as audio-video transmission in accordance with IEEE 802.1Qav. The card is installed via a PCIe slot (PCI Express 2.1), allowing it to be easily integrated into existing systems.

Checksum Offloading: Relieves the processor when calculating checksums to improve performance.
