The PoE extender enables the reliable extension of network and PoE connections over long distances, both indoors and outdoors. Thanks to support for IEEE 802.3af/at, power is supplied directly via the network cable. A separate power supply unit is not required. This reduces installation effort and allows for flexible deployment, even in hard-to-reach locations.
The robust housing with IP67 protection is designed for use in demanding conditions. The extender operates reliably in changing weather conditions and is suitable for outdoor applications such as surveillance systems, building networking or industrial installations.
With data transfer rates of up to 1 Gb/s, the device supports performance-intensive applications. Multiple extenders can be connected in series. This allows network links of up to 800 m to be achieved, depending on the cable type and installation environment.
Installation is carried out via plug-and-play without the need for configuration. The extender is simply integrated into the existing network structure and is ready for use immediately.
