Designed for demanding applications: The Converter exclusively supports the RS232 signals TX, RX and GND. The two GND connections are internally linked and form the galvanically isolated RS232 ground. The operating temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C allows for use even under demanding environmental conditions.
The InLine USB to RS232 Converter with isolator connects modern computers with a USB-A interface to devices that still communicate via a serial RS232 interface. The connection is made via a 4-pin screw terminal and is provided as a virtual COM port. This allows existing applications to continue to be used without any modifications.

The Converter supports only the RS232 signals TX, RX and GND. The two GND terminals are internally connected to each other and form the galvanically isolated RS232 ground. No other RS232 control signals are available.
