The passive adapter routes an external Mini-SAS-HD interface to four internal SATA plugs, reliably connecting controller and drives inside the enclosure. The pass-through via the slot bracket enables tidy, space-saving routing without additional converters.
Particularly advantageous when building storage devices in short or tall enclosures, in rack stations, server blade racks, or when reusing formerly SCSI-based hard-drive enclosures in existing infrastructures of companies and public institutions.
