The tripping curve of the electronic trip can be set using a rotary latching switch. The tripping functions for the overload current (Ir), the short-time delayed short-circuit current (Isd) and the instantaneous short-circuit protection (Ii) as well as the time delay tr for overload and the time delay tsd for short-time delayed short-circuit tripping can be set separately. In addition, the tripping curve can be adjusted inversely proportionally using an activatable I²t function between the short-circuit currents Ii and Isd and the short-time delayed and instantaneous tripping time. The standby LED lights up green when the trip is ready for operation and flashes orange when an internal error is detected in the trip.
