The Gigabyte G494-ZB4-AAP2 is a powerful 4U rack server, specifically designed for demanding computing applications such as AI training, high-performance computing, and data analysis. It supports two AMD EPYC™ 9005 or 9004 processors in Socket SP5 and features a 12-channel DDR5 RDIMM memory system with up to 48 DIMM slots for maximum memory capacity and bandwidth. The platform is designed to integrate up to eight dual-slot Gen5 graphics cards, including NVIDIA H200 NVL PCIe graphics cards with 4-way NVLink bridges and NVIDIA RTX PRO™ 6000 Blackwell Server Edition graphics cards. This makes the server ideal for GPU-intensive workloads. The storage architecture includes 12 hot-swap bays for 6,3 cm ( 2,5 inch ) drives with support for NVMe, SATA, and SAS-4, complemented by two M.2 slots (PCIe Gen3 x4). Expandability is ensured by a total of 14 PCIe Gen5 x16 slots, including eight for GPUs, two additional FHHL slots, one additional FHHL slot on the front panel, and three LP slots. Network integration is provided via two Gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mbit/s) based on the Intel® I350-AM2 LAN controller.
