The Exsys EX-41016-2 is a powerful PCI serial card with 16 RS-232 ports, specifically designed for use in industrial and server-based environments where a high number of serial device connections are required. The card supports both PCI and PCI-X bus standards and is therefore compatible with a wide range of systems. Thanks to the SystemBase chipset design and the integrated 16C1050 FIFO with 256 bytes, it offers reliable and fast data transfer at up to 921.6 kBaud/s. The card is Plug-and-Play capable and supports Low-Profile enclosures, making it ideal for compact or rack-mounted systems. It features comprehensive ESD protection functions (±15 kV IEC1000-4-2) to protect sensitive components from electrostatic discharges. The card is designed for operation in a temperature range of 0 to 55 °C, making it suitable for use in controlled indoor environments. Included accessories consist of 2 Octopus cables, 32 nuts, a Low-Profile bracket, a driver CD, and a manual, significantly simplifying installation and configuration.
