Heat-shrink compression connectors for electrically perfect connections and effective protection against moisture.
The 3MT ScotchlokT heat-shrink compression connectors can be used in installation technology wherever you want to connect single-wire conductors using compression technology. After heat-shrinking, the connectors also provide insulation that protects against moisture. This makes them particularly suitable for use in non-air-conditioned rooms or outdoors. The seamless connectors are made of tinned copper and are surrounded by an insulating layer of polyolefin with an inner coating of hot-melt adhesive. They can withstand a maximum voltage of 600 volts and their maximum operating temperature is 105 °C. The compression connectors are available in red, blue and yellow with a maximum conductor cross-section between 1.0 and 6.0 square millimeters. The maximum corresponds to the conductor cross-section. The ScotchlokT heat-shrink compression connectors are UL and CSA listed for use on flexible cables up to 600V.
