Diese Datenleitung wird verwendet als Anschluss- und Verbindungsleitung für Signal-, Mess-, Steuer-, und Sprechzwecke, für Ruf- und Gegensprechanlagen, Uhrenanlagen, Wiegeeinrichtungen, Rechenanlagen usw.Sie ist für feste und flexible Anwendung bei freier Bewegung ohne Zugbeanspruchung und ohne zwangsweise Bewegungsführung in trockenen, feuchten und nassen Räumen bei mittlerer mechanischer Beanspruchung geeignet. Durch ein Cu-Abschirmgeflecht werden äußere, hochfrequente Einflüsse abgehalten und so eine einwandfreie Impulsübertragung gewährleistet. Durch die paarige Verseilung werden elektrische Kopplungen innerhalb der Leitung vermieden. Über- und Nebensprecheffekte werden dadurch vermieden. Eine Beilauflitze ermöglicht einen einwandfreien Anschluss an eine Erdungsklemme.
