### Threat Scenarios and Solutions

1. Preventing data leaks between ports and to the outside world.:

Threat 1.1: Processor or software issues may enable data exchange between ports.
Solution: One-way data transfer via hardware data diodes ensures unidirectional data flow for keyboard and mouse, preventing unauthorized data movement.

Threat 1.2: Proximity of ports could allow data transmission.
Solution: Physical isolation by placing red and black ports on opposite ends improves separation.

Threat 1.3: Accidental switching between channels.
Solution: Channel switching is only possible through front-panel buttons, with all hotkeys disabled. Clear, color-coded feedback indicates the active channel.

Threat 1.4: Signaling through short-circuits or current surges.
Solution: Each port is independently powered, preventing effects of short circuits on other ports.

Threat 1.5: Monitoring crosstalk signals on another computer.
