Product Description:

The Micro Mini Media Converter 1000FX is a flexible and space-saving solution for bringing gigabit fiber networks to the desktop. Designed specifically for mobile use, this converter offers ultra-compact design and minimal power requirements, making it ideal for field service applications. With USB power capability, it connects seamlessly in locations without a power outlet, perfect for fiber-to-laptop applications. Weighing just 70 grams, the converter is highly portable, fitting easily into a bag yet delivering strong performance.

The converter is plug-and-play, featuring an RJ-45 port with auto-negotiation for speed, duplex mode, and crossover function, allowing for quick and easy connection with Ethernet devices that use 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, and 1000BASE-T. The fiber connection can vary based on model with ST, SC, or SFP connectors, compatible with both singlemode and multimode fiber cables. The LMC4000AE model supports SFP modules and is compatible with Black Box 1250-Mbps SFPs (LFP411, LFP412, LFP413, LFP414) and other standard 1250-Mbps SFPs.

Powered via USB 1.0 or 2.0 port, the Micro Mini Media Converter is ideal for fiber connections in places where power outlets are unavailable. When plugged into a USB port, the converter automatically powers down when the PC shuts off, saving energy.
