Console servers are used to remotely reconfigure, reboot, and reinitialize devices with serial console ports such as switches, routers, servers, PBXs, video conferencing systems, firewalls, PDUs, and monitoring devices. They enable rapid emergency recovery after power outages and provide easy management of IT, network, and power devices with minimal personnel. The reliable console server simplifies out-of-band management of your network, server, and power infrastructure in data centers and remote sites.

Remote Access and Monitoring:

Use the console server for affordable out-of-band access to routers, switches, PDUs, firewalls, and other serial consoles. With optional 4G cellular backup and dual Ethernet ports, the server allows full control over your network and physical environment, ensuring reliable 24/7 operation. It offers serial console port connectivity, supports environmental monitoring and power management, and stores offline logs at remote locations. Additionally, it provides a separate, data-network-independent way to manage and troubleshoot networks, enhancing network reliability and availability.

The console server includes everything needed to make remote management and fault resolution simple and cost-effective: an intuitive status monitoring dashboard, proactive alerts, vendor-neutral power management, and secure access to devices. USB Connectivity:

In addition to classic serial RS-232 console connections, the console server supports direct USB 2.0 connections to Cisco USB console ports (the integrated AJA
X terminal provides quick access to connected devices). The USB ports allow the connection of peripherals such as storage devices and USB consoles.

Dual Ports for Built-in Redundancy:

Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports allow connections to primary and secondary networks. The server detects any communication failure on the primary port and automatically switches to the second RJ-45 connection. Remotely restart or shut down computers even if their operating system is unresponsive.
