Product Description:
The Emerald® SE DVI IP-based KVM Extender offers Full HD KVM extension and matrix switching for physical and virtual machines via IP-based CATx connections. This solution delivers virtually lossless DVI video up to 1920 x 1200 and requires less than 40 Mbps for 1080p video transmission. Transparent USB forwarding and support for USB HID, V-USB 2.0, and stereo audio ensure a user-friendly operation for both physical and virtual desktops.
The system is ideal for point-to-point connections up to 100m or can be expanded into a powerful KVM matrix switching system by connecting multiple Emerald units. It supports multiple users simultaneously and allows enterprise-wide access via IP connections. With compatibility for DKM®, Agility®, Boxilla®, and ControlBridge®, integration with existing KVM systems is seamless.
Centralized management and easy configuration via Boxilla® or the On-Screen Display (OSD) ensure a high level of security and reliability. This solution integrates into standard or WAN networks, offering real desktop experiences for both physical and virtual machines, even in media-heavy applications like video or 3D design.
