The Emerald® SE DVI IP-based KVM Extender offers full HD KVM extension and switching for physical and virtual machines over IP-based CATx KVM connections. This next-generation solution provides virtually lossless Full HD DVI video up to 1920 x 1200 and supports USB HID, Transparent USB (2.0), and audio. With ultra-low IP bandwidth requirements of less than 40 Mbps for 1080p videos, the extender is ideal for high-performance multimedia applications.

Network Requirements:

For full HD video, a Gigabit Ethernet network is required. Larger networks or 4K video may require a 10-Gigabit aggregation switch. The network infrastructure can be built using IEEE 802.3 standards.
