The modular DKM extenders provide flexible combinations of video and peripheral signals. Choose base modules with DVI-D, DVI-I, HDMI, or DisplayPort and (2) USB ports for keyboard/mouse. They support both CATx and fiber connections, allowing distances up to 140m (CATx), 1000m (Multimode), or 10km (Singlemode).

The extenders offer pixel-perfect video resolutions, including up to 2048 x 1152 (Single Link DVI), 2560 x 1600 (Dual Link DVI), HDMI up to 1080p, and DisplayPort up to 4K across the full distance. High-speed video options with 2.5 Gbps bandwidth are available for demanding graphic applications. These modules can be used in modular DKM extender enclosures, and you can mix and match different interfaces to suit your needs.

The base modules can be used for point-to-point KVM extensions or in the DKM FX/FXC KVM matrix systems. Modules with special functions, such as redundant links or integrated 2-port switches, provide additional flexibility. Transparent USB 2.0 modules (480 Mbps) are ideal for operating Wacom tablets and other specialized peripheral devices.

By digitally transmitting video signals without loss of quality, the DKM extender offers excellent image clarity. Single Link DVI supports resolutions up to 2048 x 1152, Dual Link DVI up to 2560 x 1600, HDMI up to 1080p, and DisplayPort up to 4K – all over the full distance.

DKM Modular Extenders Overview:

The enclosures come in desktop versions with 2, 4, or 6 slots, as well as a 48,3 cm ( 19 inch ) version with 21 slots. For critical applications, versions with redundant power supplies and various AC/DC power options are available. The FXC switching modules integrate up to 8 CATx or fiber ports, saving space.
