Suitable for high demands in industrial applications. Existing mounting holes offer the option of screwing the foot switches to the surface. Each foot switch is equipped with four rubber feet to prevent slipping. The foot lever is made of thermoplastic. An accident protection cover made of die-cast aluminum completely shields the pedal from above and from the sides and, with its wide extension, ensures high stability. Accidental actuation by falling objects from above or carelessness from the side is thus prevented. Due to its stability, the cover can withstand a drop weight of 20 kg from a height of 1 m. actuation of the pedal up to the pressure point:
the working contact is closed, the work process is initiated.
In an emergency situation, actuation beyond the
resistance of the pressure point:
the working contact is interrupted and locked, the work process is interrupted. Even if the pedal is not actuated, the lock remains in the OFF position during this phase. Uncontrolled restarting
or a new start of moving machine parts is thus reliably avoided.
Unlocking:
Only after the dangerous situation has been eliminated does manual unlocking (push button on the side of the housing) release the contacts again. The work process can be restarted by pressing the pedal up to the pressure point.
Foot switches with an increased protection class are dust-tight and protected against permanent submersion.
