It establishes the network connection to other Homeplug AV adapters via the 230V house power network and at the same time communicates with wireless devices such as laptops, smartphones and tablets via its 300 Mbps wireless LAN interface (IEEE802.11b/g/n or IEEE802.11a/n selectable).
In addition, the ALL1682511v2 Homeplug AV Wireless N Adapter has two RJ45 network ports for connecting wired network devices. The highest encryption standards for wireless LAN and powerline, which can be activated at the push of a button, ensure tap-proof data exchange across all interfaces.
