Motion Control Encoder sind optoelektronische Anbaugeber, die Wegstrecken, Drehwinkel, Drehzahlen oder die Lage von Maschinenachsen erfassen. Motion Control Encoder sind direkte Messsysteme, die an Wellen, Achsen oder Motoren angebaut werden. Sie sind einsetzbar in Verbindung mit numerischen und speicherprogrammierbaren Steuerungen, Antrieben sowie Positionsanzeigen. Die Motion Control Encoder sind systemgetestete, zertifizierte Komponenten und optimal abgestimmt auf die Systeme: SINUMERIK CNC-Steuerungen, SIMOTION Motion Control Systeme, SIMATIC speicherprogrammierbare Steuerungen und SINAMICS Antriebssysteme. Inkrementalgeber erfassen relative Bewegungen und liefern je Umdrehung eine definierte Zahl von elektrischen Impulsen, die das Maß für den zurückgelegten Weg oder Winkel sind. Inkrementalgeber arbeiten nach dem Prinzip der optoelektronischen Abtastung von Teilscheiben im Durchlichtverfahren mit einer Leuchtdiode (LED) als Lichtquelle. Die bei drehender Geberwelle entstehende Hell-Dunkel-Modulation wird von Fotoelementen erfasst. Durch geeignete Anordnung der Strichmuster auf der mit der Welle verbundenen Teilscheibe und der feststehenden Blende liefern die Fotoelemente zwei zueinander um 90° versetzte Spursignale A und B sowie ein Referenzsignal R. Die Geberelektronik verstärkt diese Signale und formt sie in verschiedene Ausgangspegel um. Die Inkrementalgeber mit Schnittstelle RS422 (TTL) und einer Betriebsspannung von 5 V oder einer Betriebsspannung von 10 V bis 30 V sind mit Synchroflansch oder Klemmflansch verfügbar. Der Anschluss erfolgt jeweils über eine Flanschdose axial, eine Flanschdose radial oder einer 1 m Leitung mit Stecker (universaler integrierter Leitungsabgang für axiale und radiale Abgangsrichtung).
