There are lots of Small Form Factor PCs with different sizes. Volumes from 1L to 30L are possible. That is why the shapes of the different devices also varies. SFF PCs are often cube-shaped or come as very small tower PCs.
Although Small Form Factor Computers basically have identical functions as normal sized desktop PCs, there are a few limitations to its capabilities. A SFF PC usually comes with an x86 operating system. It also uses 5.25 inch SlimLine drives that can not be extended. Also there is usually only enough space for a single hard disk drive. That means, the over all upgradability of a SFF PC is limited.
