The FRITZ!Box 5590 Fiber offers the complete FRITZ!Box functionality directly on the fiber optic connection. Thanks to interchangeable modules, the FRITZ!Box 5590 Fiber can be used very flexibly on all fiber optic connections common in Germany. Depending on the connection type, the appropriate FRITZ!SFP plug-in module can be inserted into the integrated slot for fiber optic modules. The new fiber optic flagship distributes speed wirelessly in seconds via Wi-Fi 6 (4 x 4) and a 2.5 Gigabit port that can be used as both a WAN and LAN connection. Four Gigabit LAN and two USB 3.0 ports round off the high-speed features. Works on any connection – thanks to interchangeable fiber optic transceivers. There are various fiber optic access technologies in Germany. The FRITZ!Box 5590 Fiber offers a modular system for network access via fiber optics, which is prepared for the most common connection types AON (e.g. many city network operators) and GPON (Deutsche Telekom, 1< Deutsche Glasfaser, Vodafone, etc.). The matching FRITZ!SFP modules AON and GPON are included in the scope of delivery. Color-coded cables and jacks simplify setup.
