Das Modul unterstützt 5 Betriebsarten. In den Betriebsarten 'PWM DC' und 'PWM Frq' können alle 4 Kanäle unabhängig genutzt werden. Wird auf einem Kanalpaar (1 und 2 oder 3 und 4) jeweils die gleiche Betriebsart eingestellt, ist zudem der Brückenmodus aktivierbar. Hierbei arbeiten die beiden beteiligten Kanäle synchron und können parallel geschaltet werden. In den übrigen 3 komplexen Betriebsarten sind jeweils 2 Kanäle funktional korrespondierend.
Dabei wird über den jeweils ersten Kanal das PWM-Signal und über den zugehörigen zweiten Kanal ein statisches Signal ('0' oder '1') ausgegeben.
