SIRIUS soft starter S2 72 A, 37 kW/400 V, 40 °C AC 200-480 V, AC/DC 24 V spring-loaded terminals SIRIUS 3RW30 soft starter for standard applications for the soft start of three-phase asynchronous motors. Stepless starting, reduction of current peaks, avoidance of mains voltage fluctuations during start-up, relief of the power supply network, reduction of mechanical load in the drive, considerable space and wiring savings compared to star-delta starters and frequency converters, maintenance-free switching and extremely easy handling. The integrated bypass enables the very compact design and ensures less heating in the control cabinet. Worldwide approvals (e.g. IEC and UL/CSA). The 3RW soft starters are available for networks up to 690 V in a wide power range with different control supply voltages and consistently with screw and spring-loaded connections. For 3RW30/40 there are additional variants with 24 V control supply voltage. Some of the 3RW40 up to size S3 and all 3RW44 also offer thermistor motor protection. With the optional connection module, the soft starters can be attached to the circuit breakers, even for the variants with spring-loaded connections. Simple, efficient, always up to date - the SIRIUS modular system.
