The Moxa EDS-208A Series features rugged, unmanaged 8-port Ethernet switches designed for harsh industrial conditions. They support 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 copper ports and optional 100BaseFX fiber ports (1 or 2, multi-mode or single-mode, SC or ST), offering versatile connectivity for automation and infrastructure applications.
Equipped with redundant 12/24/48 VDC power inputs, a durable IP30-rated aluminum housing, and global certifications (Class I Div. 2, ATEX Zone 2, EN 50121-4, NEMA TS2, DNV/LR/ABS/NK), these switches are ideal for marine, transportation, mobile, and factory environments. The -T models support -40 to 75 °C operation for extreme temperatures.
Each model features DIP switches for broadcast storm protection, ensuring enhanced network resilience. All units undergo a rigorous 100% burn-in test to meet the high demands of industrial automation.
