CableEye / CB-T1 training and test card

This adapter board is ideal for familiarizing new employees with the CableEye test systems during their training. Training can be self-directed with this tool. The board is populated with some common connectors so that trainees can methodically learn how the system responds to opens, shorts, miswiring, diodes, resistors and broken connections while simultaneously learning Tester to use.The adapter board has identification LEDs for each port, which show the operator in training which port to connect. This feature requires connection to the tester's remote control port and is therefore not compatible with the M2Z models or the obsolete M2U-Basic model. A training/verification procedure is included with the card. For tester verification: As a system verification tool, the CB-T1 enables allows the customer to verify proper operation of the tester by quickly scanning the full spectrum of fault detection without using sample fault cables. The limitation with physical fault cables is that an example is typically required for each fault. Using the CB-T1 allows for a faster and more comprehensive testing process. The verification cable itself can be learned on first use and then loaded before going through a simple fault simulation procedure. A training/verification procedure is included with the card.
