BEGA was founded in 1945 by Heinrich Gantenbrink in Menden (Sauerland) and today operates as a third-generation international family company. The company develops and manufactures high-quality luminaires for almost all areas of architecture – from discreet recessed lights to striking outdoor floodlights.

The product range includes outdoor luminaires (wall lights, bollard lights, floodlights, downlights), indoor luminaires (ceiling and recessed lights, pendant lights, wall lights) as well as BEGA Urban Elements for public and semi-public spaces. Are BEGA luminaires DALI controllable?

Yes. Many BEGA luminaires are available in DALI and DALI-2 variants and integrate seamlessly into existing building automation and lighting management systems. BEGA also offers Smart luminaires with Zigbee control.

What protection classes do BEGA outdoor luminaires offer?

BEGA outdoor luminaires are available in protection classes IP44, IP65 and IP67 depending on the model. For ground recessed luminaires and applications with water contact, IP68 variants are also available.
