The RGS100-5P has four Gigabit PoE+ ports to easily power power-hungry devices, as well as a Gigabit SFP fiber uplink, which connects the network to nodes at distances of up to 40 km, providing further flexibility. The RGS100-5P can be mounted on either a DIN rail or wall, making the most efficient use of available space.
Reliable plug-and-play switch for harsh environmental conditions
The new RGS100-5P switch from Zyxel for use in harsh environments does not require a fan and has a housing design according to the IP30 standard. Therefore, it can control the temperature excellently and can easily cope with even the dustiest environments. The RGS100-5P is rated for temperatures between -40°C and 75°C and can be used in a variety of demanding environments.
The RGS100-5P is equipped with dual input DC power supply. This makes it suitable for high-availability operation and works reliably even under the most demanding conditions. When outdoor switching occurs normally, ESD (electrostatic discharge) and DC surge protection prevent loss of sales and productivity due to damage or weakness caused by electrical interference.
