The BNS 16-12ZR-ST1 is a magnetic safety sensor designed for applications requiring reliable and precise switching functions. With a robust housing made of fiberglass-reinforced thermoplastic, this sensor offers high durability and an IP67 protection rating, making it suitable for demanding environments.

The sensor operates with a magnetic actuator and features two safety contacts (2 normally closed, NC) and one auxiliary contact (1 normally open, NO). A secure switching distance of 8 mm (Sao) and a release distance of 18 mm (Sar) ensure top-notch safety according to EN IEC 60947-5-3. The sensor requires an evaluation unit for operation.

Thanks to its compact design and centrally positioned M12 connector, the BNS 16-12ZR-ST1 is easy to install. It offers a mechanical lifespan of up to 25 million switching cycles and is ideal for non-flush mounting conditions.
