The MZM 100 ST2-1P2PWRE-A safety sensor is an innovative safety interlock system with an inductive operating principle and universal coding. The sensor ensures a high safety level according to EN ISO 13849-1, EN ISO 14119, and EN IEC 60947-5-3, achieving up to Performance Level (PL) e, Category 4, and SIL 3.

It provides a typical holding force of 750 N and supports series connections of up to 31 devices with serial diagnostics (SD). The robust sensor is made of glass-fiber reinforced thermoplastic, offering IP65/IP67 protection, making it dust- and water-resistant.

The device connects via an 8-pin M12 connector and features safe digital outputs as well as diagnostic outputs with short-circuit protection. The integrated LED indicator displays operational status, malfunctions, and power supply.
