The BNS 36-02ZG-ST-R is a compact magnetic safety sensor featuring a fiberglass-reinforced plastic housing, which is both lightweight and durable. Operating on a magnetic principle, it is optimized for flush mounting. With an IP67 protection rating and a long lifespan of up to 25 million switching cycles, it is ideal for industrial applications in demanding environments.

The sensor includes two safety contacts (2 normally closed) and an integrated LED status indicator, which lights up when the protective device is correctly closed. Axial tolerances allow for horizontal or vertical misalignment between the sensor and actuator, as long as the switching distance is maintained.

The convenient M8 (4-pin) connector with snap-locking ensures easy installation. The sensor operates reliably in temperatures from -25 °C to +70 °C and is optimized for right-hand hinged doors with frontal movement toward the active surface.

Recommended accessories include the BPS 36-2 actuator and safety relay modules such as the SRB-E-301ST or SRB-E-201LC.
