The AZM 161ST-11/12RKA-024 is an electromechanical safety switch designed for applications requiring high safety standards and reliability. Featuring a fiberglass-reinforced, self-extinguishing plastic housing, this switch provides an IP67 protection rating, making it suitable for demanding environments.

The switch operates on the working current principle and includes three safety contacts and two auxiliary contacts. With a maximum retention force of 2,600 N and a mechanical lifespan of at least 1,000,000 switching cycles, the switch is robust and durable. Flexible installation is supported by built-in connectors (M12, 4-pin and 8-pin, A-coding), ensuring quick and secure connections.

An integrated auxiliary release can be operated using a separately available M5 triangular key, simplifying maintenance and setup tasks. The switch is designed for sliding, removable, and rotating protective devices and complies with EN ISO 13849-1 and EN IEC 60947-5-1 standards.
